Gîtes Le Mathelin - Located between the vast vineyards of the wines of Lamothe-Montravel, you will find our 4 comfortable gites/holiday residences in the typical French “en pierre” style. Besides the fact that our area is known for the famous Bergerac wines, the famous wine regions of St. Emilion and Pomerol are just a stone's throw away.

The guests of our gites have free access to the spacious swimming pool and the park-like landscaped garden. They can also use the outdoor kitchen with barbeque. Free wifi is available.

Our Gites are open all year long!

In a French style renovated Grange there are 3 gites (duplex i.e. 2 floors/gite), and 1 studio.

Prices:

The rates of our gites are divided into low, mid and high season. Throughout the year we have flexible arrival and departure days; with a minimum stay of 3 nights in low and medium season and 7 nights in high season.

Low season from the 20th of September till the 24th of December and from the 2nd of January till the 14th of Juin.
Mid season from the 14th of Juin till the 12th of July, from the 23rd of August till the 20th of September and from the 24th of December till the 2nd of January.
High season from the 12th of July till the 23rd of August.

Departure: before 10 a.m.

Low season: 700€/week | 100€/night
Mid season: 875€/week | 125€/night
High season: 1350€/week

Surroundings:
Our gites are located in the middle of the vineyards of the famous Bergerac wines, in the Dordogne department. This department is part of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. This region, in southwestern France, is known for its rich cultural and natural heritage, with its towns, its buildings, its castles and spectacular landscapes. These will be a constant source of inspiration during your stay in the region. This region full of character has increased its reputation thanks to its vineyards and gastronomy. Due to its special geographical position, it enjoys an oceanic climate. The climate is mild with plenty of sunshine.

By train - Lamothe-Montravel Train Station is 2 km from the Gîtes, with a direct connection to Bordeaux. From and to Bordeaux there is a direct connection (by TGV) to Paris.

By plane - The Gîtes are a 40-minute drive from Bergerac airport, with several connections to London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Bristol and Southhampton.
