Two Bedroom Apartment in the Historic Heart of Bordeaux - Bordeaux Terrace

This stylishly renovated two-bedroom apartment is at the top of an 18th century building in the center of World Heritage listed Bordeaux. There is a spectacular view from the private terrace, overlooking the ancient city gate, the Porte de Bourgogne. Beyond is the Garonne river and the Pont de Pierre – the bridge over which Napoleon took his troops to Paris. You can sit with a drink in hand feeling like you are in the front row of a theatre.

Bordeaux Terrace has a mix of modern and antique furnishings and is colorful, warm and inviting. The floor area is 60 square meters in size (645 square feet).

Accommodation is for up to four people​. ​The main bedroom has a King size bed (which can be converted into two singles), and the second bedroom has two single beds (which can also be converted to a King size bed).

There is a well equipped kitchen with washing machine, a bathroom, plus a separate toilet. Amenities include Wifi, Cable TV, an iPod dock, free phone calls to most countries, books, DVDs and board games.

As well as the​ ​sandstone spiral staircase, there is also an elevator. Taxis can stop outside the door and the tram stop is just 200 feet (60 meters) from the apartment building. There is also a supervised parking station two minutes walk away.

The apartment building faces onto a small street. Around the corner near St Michel Basilica is an artisan baker, with a daily second-hand market held in the square outside. On Saturdays the best regional produce is available at a market in the same location, and on Sundays is the largest antique market in South-West France. On a road leading from St Michel is the daily Capucins market, where you can stock up on gourmet ingredients and feast on oysters and white wine.
