We welcome you to our guest house in Chantenay Saint Imbert. You will find us on the border of Burgundy and Auvergne, not far from the N7.

Here we offer you the opportunity to enjoy the peace, space, overwhelming nature, historical sites, beautiful gardens and peaceful golf courses.

The property was built in the 16th century as a hunting lodge commissioned by the Princess of Cleves, enlarged in the 18th century and since 2006 used as a bed and breakfast (Unbref summary of over 400 years of history) History which is still visible and tangible on the original spiral staircase, in the rooms with old beams.

The historic building, the 1 hectare park with its pond where you will admire fish, all kinds of birds and squirrels chasing each other in the trees, the old and quiet village, the banks of the Allier river, the proximity of the forest de TRONCAIS and its oak trees planted under Louis XIV.

4 SUITES ARE AVAILABLE:

Retaining the authentic details, we have created four comfortable and spacious suites. Each room has its own character and is equipped with a living room, a TV / DVD player, a kettle and a private bathroom or a shower room with a sink, toilet and hairdryer. Two bedrooms have extra long beds (2.20 m).

In addition to the breakfast included with your stay, we are happy to offer you the possibility of dining at our table d'hôtes (reserve it on your arrival).

If it is late, we will offer you a snack.

All the cooking is homemade using fresh organic and local products when possible.

Chambre de la TOUR has twin beds of 1.80 x 2.00 m and a shower room with sink and separate toilet. A cot (to be brought by yourself or to rent from us for € 13.50 per person) can be added. The bedroom is on the first floor. Features include wifi, TV, DVD player and universal portable charger.

Chambre Tronçais has extra long beds (twin beds of 1.80 x 2.20 m) and a spacious bathroom with bath / shower, sink and toilet. The room rate is based on 2 people and includes breakfast. Features include wifi, television, DVD player, and universal portable charger.

Chambre du PERAY - Chambre du Peray has extra long beds (twin beds 1.80 x 2.20 m) and a particularly spacious private bathroom with bathroom, separate shower, sink and toilet. It is possible to rent the room as a family room (max. 4 people) for € 121.00 per night, breakfast included. Features include wifi, television and bath.

Chambre du Pirot consists of a bedroom with a double bed (1.60 x 2.00 m) with a private shower room (shower, sink, toilet) and a separate living room with a sofa bed. The bedroom has direct access to the garden and has a private terrace. Windhoek can be rented as a family room (max. 4 persons) for € 121.00 per night including breakfast. Features include wifi and TV, DVD player, universal portable charger.

Every evening, we are happy to serve at our table d'hôtes: LA TABLE DE GUTA. At around 7:30 p.m. (reservation required), you can sit down and enjoy a lovingly prepared dinner in a friendly atmosphere. We use fresh regional products, such as seasonal or garden vegetables and meat from local farms

Here we peel, we mince, we scrape, in short, we cook!

As far as possible, we take into account your (food) needs; a vegetarian menu is always possible.

HOURS OF ARRIVALS and MEALS

We welcome you every day until midnight

Breakfast is from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Lunch on site from 12:30 p.m.

Dinner from 7:30 p.m.

In summer a brunch will be offered on Sunday from 11:00 a.m.

THE SURROUNDINGS: -You will never be bored during your stay. There are many ways to indulge and relax in the area.

You will find five golf courses within a 90 kilometer radius.

The hilly and varied landscape is ideal for cycling and hiking (maps and routes available) At a distance of 1.5 kilometers there is a 30 hectare equestrian center (English owner) With the Loire and Allier within easy reach, this region is a paradise for fishermen.

From Le Veudre, Nevers or Decize, you can explore the Loire or the Allier by canoe.

The former Magny Cours Formula 1 circuit offers you the opportunity to experience your inner Max Verstappen.

Relax in the historic thermal spa building of Bourbon l´Archambault.

Board a riverboat in Décize or Nevers and transport yourself through the canals or across the Loire Visit two of France's most beautiful gardens in the neighboring region Enjoy a good glass of wine in the wine regions of world renown of Pouilly and Sancerre.

Take a day trip to historic towns like Nevers, Moulins, Bourges or Vichy, forests, lakes and canals are everywhere and waiting to be explored.
