Spacious, Self Catering gite with beautiful pool to rent near Gaillac, Tarn, South West France
The La Vele gite provides a spacious and restful living space of nearly 2,000 sq.ft. It is well equipped and ideal for either an extended family, or group of up to 9 people, or a smaller family or group who would like the luxury of lots of space when on holiday. The area is peaceful and quiet, and is surrounded on three sides by fields, vineyards and copses. The property was originally built from limestone more than 200 years ago by a wealthy landowner as a very large barn to service the massive estate.
On the Ground Floor - South facing private access, a large open plan lounge area with with two large settees, easy chairs, satellite TV, DVD player and radio etc. There is an additional dining area, a secondary lounge, a large kitchen & dining area, and a shower room/WC etc., with washing machine.
On the First Floor - There are 4 large bedrooms, one of which is en-suite, and a family bathroom.
Bedrooms - 3 double-bedrooms, of which one is en-suite, and 1 triple bedroom. Two bedrooms could also accommodate an additional single-bed/child’s cot.
Gardens & Pool area The 2 acre garden contains the child-secure 12x6m swimming pool within a large, secluded tiled terrace with barbecue area, sun-loungers and sun-shades. The pool and and terrace is totally fenced with two 'child-proof' access gates. The pool has a shallow end with wide corner steps. The gardens offer spacious lawns, a field for children's games and places of welcome shade during the summer months. The house has no passing traffic except for the occasional farmer checking his crop.
