For recreation there is plenty to do for those who love nature. Paths from the house in any direction. for walkers and cyclists. There is the green way below thevillage of Berzé, bike possibility, walking, rollerblading etc. There are also tastings in the cellars ,mâconnais ,beaujolais,castle of Berzé le Chatel, Pierreclos, home of the poet Lamartine, its castle in Saint Point, 15 minutes by car, where there is also an ideal lake for swimming, Cluny and its abbey, its Saturday market. Also a very nice market in Macon on Saturday. A little further but not much more Maybe 15 miles Chateau Cormatin ,Theizé, Buxy, Tournus and Brancion etc. Many of these sîtes are accessible on foot or by bile. For restaurants there is also a lot of choice
