South Facing Holiday Cottage in Lannemezan, Hautes Pyrenees
Lassere is 19th Century converted farmhouse that acts as a fantastic base to explore the beautiful Pyrenees mountains and the Gers department. This lovely, south facing holiday property has retained many of its original features and enjoys a great view over the Pyrenees. It is situated halfway between Pau and Toulouse in a fabulous setting of rivers, grottos, caves and many places of interesting history. There are plenty of activities on offer for the more active holidaymakers including cycling, walking, climbing, skiing, canoeing and rafting. Be sure to visit the Lannemezan market that attracts over 2000 people every week. The Gorges de la Save, Montmaurin Roman ruins, Chateau de Mauvezin and the Grottes de Gargas are all within reach. There are several ski resorts and wine tours nearby!
Accommodation: The large downstairs main room provides a great ambience that combines a fully-equipped modern kitchen, dining and living space. There is a dining table seating 6 inside, as well as more outside dining facilities. The living area boasts plenty of comfortable seating, a log burner, TV/DVD with SAT TV. Both bedrooms are fully oak-beamed enjoying stunning views of the Pyrenees mountains. There is an additional double sofabed downstairs. The cottage has a private garden and a very large swimming pool.
