La Tournie is a secluded contemporary style villa in the South of France with private pool. Set in 20 acres of forest, this villa is a haven of peace and tranquility. An ancient stone barn and farmhouse have been tastefully converted to provide luxurious contemporary accommodation. The properties can accommodate up to 10 people. It’s spacious layout makes it ideal for groups of friends, or several families holidaying together. La Tournie originally dates from the 18th Century. But the old buildings have been renovated to provide contemporary villa accommodation. The muted interior palette complements the natural surroundings and gives an atmosphere of Zen tranquility. The fittings and furniture are of very high quality.

There are two separate dwellings on the property. There is a large converted barn with three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a seminar room, a gym and sauna. The second property is a contemporary style house three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There are spectacular views over the garden and forest. The property has a 10 x 5 metre swimming pool, a boule court and a vegetable garden, as well as a barbecue and a choice of outdoor dining settings.

The Neighbourhood:
Le Tournie is at the end of a lane. There is plenty of parking on site.

It is located about 20 km (12.5 miles) from Agen, which has a TGV service, and is approximately 135 km (85 miles) from Toulouse.

Rolling hills with forests, valleys, rivers and medieval fortified towns make this region a delight to visit. The closest village to Le Tournié is Laroque Timbault, 5 kilometres away, which dates back to the 13th century. Here you will find a couple of small grocery stores, two bakeries and a butcher.

The villages of Villeneuve sur Lot, Pujols and Penne d’Agenais are all within twenty minutes’ drive and worth visiting for their charming streetscapes and historic architecture.

There are numerous choices of activities including horse riding, archery, golf, rock climbing, hiking and bike trailing, quad biking and dune buggies, paintball, go-karts and swimming, and other water-based activities. There are also a number of excellent restaurants within a short driving distance of Le Tournie.
