Welcome to Maison Lennox, a beautifully renovated apartment set in in Macot-la-Plagne, the heart of the French Alps. The apartment is the ideal retreat for couples seeking a luxurious and cosy base to explore or relax.
The whole house, including the basement cave, were completely gutted and renovated in the 2010s by the previous owners who were keen skiers and cyclists and wanted a house that gave them easy access to all their favourite activities.
The apartment offers close and easy access to 5 different ski resorts in winter. Summer activities include kayaking, rafting, biking, e-biking, hiking, a climbing centre and lake (Plan d’Eau) for swimming. For children, there is a child-friendly water park and a tree climbing/zip wire adventure world.
Our aim is to ensure that all visitors to Maison Lennox have a relaxing stay – whether you spend the day out on the slopes, river, lake or roads, or whether you just want to drink in the ever-changing mountain views.
The apartment comprises one bedroom with two single beds or one king-size double bed. Exceptionally, we can accommodate up to four people as the large sofa bed in the living room pulls out in to a large double. Additional occupancy is solely at our discretion and we take various factors in to account to keep wear and tear of the apartment to a minimum.
Please contact us before booking if you wish to enquire about additional occupancy. The bedroom has an emergency exit (photo) that leads to the main house. The exit is closed off but not locked.
ACTIVITIES & ATTRACTIONS
Tennis with stunning views: we have membership of 4 tennis courts just 5 minutes walk away. We can reserve a court (€10/hour) and provide rackets and balls for an additional €5.
Skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, randonnée, snow biking… and so much more
In Summer - Maison Lennox is surrounded by options including Hiking, cycling along dedicated lanes, running, kayaking, white water rafting, climbing, swimming at Plan d’Eau, paragliding, tree adventure parks, classic car events and much more!
There’s a boulangerie and supermarket a few minutes’ walk, as well as a café/bar, pizzeria, town square and church. Find more restaurants in Aime (2km), Bourg and La Plagne (15km) and Les Arcs (34km). You’re 15 minutes’ drive to the Paradiski domaine, which covers popular La Plagne and Les Arcs, great for skiing and boarding of all abilities.
Local summer events include the Tour de France passing by, music festivals, firework displays, markets and much more. Day trips to Italy, 90 minutes away, are possible through the Col de Petit St Bernard - it's inaccessible except on skis in winter!
