A traditional yet charming holiday château that is set in 6 hectares of private grounds. This fantastic French property has been fully renovated throughout and offers guests modern, comfortable, high quality accommodation spread over three floors. Both Child safe and pratical Chateau Du Mas is ideal for family groups On the ground floor you will find a dining room / living room, a fully equipped kitchen and two reception rooms. In the living area there is a TV with UK satellite TV. There is also Wi-fi Internet access throughout the property. For the children there is a playroom with toys and a TV with DVD player. Stairs will lead you to the first floor where you will find 4 bedrooms, two of which have double beds, one has two single beds and the last one is our nursery room which has two single beds and a cot. A second flight of stairs will lead you to the 2nd floor where you will find the 5th bedroom, this bedroom also has a large double bed. 3 of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with WC and there is also a separate bathroom on the first floor with WC, shower, hand basin and dryer. Outside you can enjoy the extensive private grounds. With magnificent countryside views you can relax on the shaded terrace which is fully equipped with dining table, chairs and a BBQ - wonderful for al fresco dining. There is also a 12 x 6m private heated swimming pool with a its own sun terrace and loungers. There is plenty of parking available on the private drive.

The property is situated in open countryside on the edge of the picturesque village of Dignac. The local shops and amenities are just a 1 min drive or 5 min walk . The village of Dignac lies 16 km south-east of Angloulème with a large supermarket approximately 10mins away in Villebois. The beautiful ramparted city of Angouleme is just a 30 minute drive away and is a wonderful place to wander and explore. The city centre has a myriad of shops from some familiar high street names to dozens of traditional French boutiques. You can sit for a while at one of the many pavement cafés or be spoilt for choice with the variety of restaurants. For the golf fanatatics, the Chateau Blanc has several options with an 18 Hole Golf Club de L'Hirondelle - 30 minutes' drive away - www.golf-angouleme.com or just 10 minutes away is a Pitch and Putt 9 hole course - www.lespetiteschaumes.wordpress.com. If you are bringing children, Accrobranche in Soyaux, only 15 minutes' drive away, is a fantastic place for all ages from 3yrs up to have fun together, climb the trees with ropes and harnesses, completing differing levels of difficulty.
