Lovely Converted Barn near Pyrénées, in a Béarn village between Navarrenx and Oloron St Marie

The gite, Les Galets, is a charming converted barn with 2 bedrooms and a swimming pool on the route de Compostela. The area is ideal for biking, hiking, skiing, golf, kayaking or just relaxing.
Accommodation:
The living area is open plan with a large corner sofa, a dining table and chairs as well as a TV, DVD player and stereo. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric hob and oven, a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. There are two large bedrooms located on the first floor, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds and a sofa bed. Each bedroom is en-suite with a walk-in shower, toilet and wash hand basin.
Set within a private landscaped garden with a patio/BBQ area, there is also a swimming pool 8m by 4m. The pool and sun loungers are located in a secure landscaped garden accessed directly from the gite garden and swings are located in the gite garden.
There is secure parking next to the owner’s house at the rear of the gite.
Other things to note:
The pool is private but will be shared by the owners on occasion.

The house is in a peaceful and quiet village setting, but within easy access of the mountains, Pau, the Atlantic coast, Biarritz and Bayonne, the Pays Basque and Spain. There are a huge variety of activities all year round such as walking, hiking, cycling, white-water rafting, horse riding, fishing, golf, paragliding, downhill karting and much more. Le Petit Train D'Artouste is a must for fabulous mountain scenery at the top of the Pyrenees.
