This beautiful 4 bedroom villa in Villemoustaussou is ideal for a family of 8 or a small group of friends. It features a private heated swimming pool and a private 1,500 sq.m. garden for you to relax in.
The property boasts a comfortable living and dining room and an adjoining open kitchen, where guests can prepare delicious meals at home. The fenced garden affords the perfect spot for the children to play freely.You can also enjoy charcoal barbecues on the terrace and there is a covered logia, should you need some shade.
There is also a high chair and a camping cot in the home. 

The scenic River Fresquel, in Pennautier, flows only 2 km away from the villa, and the Canal du Midi is just a short cycle ride away; ideal for spending a sunny day on the banks or riding one of the 4 bikes provided at the villa along the cycle path, to one of the excellent restaurants along the canal banks. Enjoy a shopping spree at the market and shops in Carcassonne, or try delicious delicacies from the restaurants and shops in Villemoustaussou, 2 km away. Pont Rouge, a short car or bike ride away offers a large supermarket, award-winning baker, and many other shops and ammeneties. Fun-loving guests can also enjoy the nightlife in Carcassonne, 8 km away. A 'must see' attration is Le Cite, the famous medieval city, just outside Carcassonne.

Another key attraction is Lac de la Cavayare, which offers tranquil walks, watersports or the slightly less tranquil O2 centre, with zip-wires, high-ropes and all sorts of other adrenalin-inducing activities!

We are blessed with some wonderful wine producers on our door-step, including O'Vineyards and Chateau Pennautier, who celebrated their 400th anniversary in 2020.

The train station and airport are also located in Carcassonne. 

You can either fly with Ryanair, from Stanstead or East Midlands, or if you prefer to drive, you may wish to take in an over-night stop in the heart of France.

Please note that the bikes at the villa our our own property and do not form part of your rental contract, but you are welcome to use them entirely at your own risk. We cannot guarentee their serviceability, as unfortunately not all guests leave them in as they found them! To this end, we do ask you to make good any damage you may cause to the bikes and repair any punctures etc., so other guests may also enjoy them.

A 25% deposit is required to secure a booking, with the balance payable 6 weeks before the holiday, at which point a returnable £250.00 damage deposit will also be required.

For reasons of tranquillity, we do not rent to groups of 'youngsters'.
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house.
