Loire Valley Holiday Accommodation with large hot tub and great cycling in Maine-et-Loire
Le Haut Courtigne is situated 3km from the village of Parcay les Pins which is mid-way between the historic cities of Tours and Angers, and within 20km of the beautiful town of Saumur.
Le Haut Courtigne offers holiday accommodation of a very high standard in the form of a three bedroom Gite (La Noisette) and a separate Cottage (La Noix) and belongs to Ray and Wendy Priestley an English couple who now live there permanently.
La Noisette - sleeps 6 - A recently restored part of the 17th century Longere with its original oak beams throughout, La Noisette sleeps 6. There are two large bedrooms on the first floor; one double-bedded and one twin bedded having a shared bathroom and large shower. The larger double bedded room could easily accommodate an extra single bed or cot if required. Downstairs is a very comfortable Lounge-dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The downstairs bedroom can be either two single beds or one double bed. This bedroom has its own toilet and large shower.
Each property is fully heated making it suitable for the not so hot times of the year, together with DVD,CD players, Satellite TV and internet access. Wheel chair access in La Noisette.
In a private part of the grounds, available to all guests, there is a large decked area containing a seven person hot tub, sun loungers and a roofed area to provide shade when it gets too hot. The view from this area is of fields, forests and a very large apple orchard. By the side of the decked area is a fixed barbecue.
Both properties have outside tables and chairs and their own barbecue.

The general views available to both the La Noix and the La Noisette are typical of this lovely area of France, fields, trees, bees, buzzards, kestrel, and heron! We even have a couple of hares that seem to use our back garden as their own!
We keep four very good quality bicycles and approved cycling helmets available, we also promise to provide more if we possibly can, as and when required.
The area is great for golf enthusiasts. We are prepared to provide food and transport to and from the nearby Golf courses.
