Laveda Farmhouse with Private Pool in Le Lindois, Charente, Poitou Charentes

The Farmhouse and Barn is a detached property in the quiet hamlet of Logeat in Charente, France. It boasts a large, landscaped and secluded garden with various eating/seating areas and a private swimming pool.
There is plenty of parking to the front of the property and you will need a car to get around the area. 

Laveda Farmhouse comprises:

In 2021 we extended the accommodation, which now comfortably sleeps 10. The original farmhouse boasts a master king size bedroom with an en-suite shower room. There are two further bedrooms with twin beds easily convertible into doubles. The large family bathroom has both a walk in shower and full size bath.

On the ground floor you'll find a large open plan dining area plus additional sitting area. La Veda's fully fitted modern kitchen, including dishwasher, has double doors opening on to an expansive- terrace ideal for alfresco dining- and then onto the rear garden and pool areas.

A separate utility room provides you with a washing machine and tumble drier. There is also a downstairs cloakroom. A wide open corridor links the original farmhouse to the newly extended former barn. This houses two further large bedrooms with shower ensuites on the ground floor. On the first floor you'll find a generous open plan lounge as well as further sitting areas. Patio doors lead onto a large balcony overlooking and leading onto the garden.

The reverse living/sleeping arrangement means you can make the most of the views from the first floor, both front and back. Meanwhile the ground floor bedrooms benefit from the thick stone walls to keep these rooms cool on hot summer nights.

Entertainment
There is a video tape/dvd player with tons of tapes/dvds to play including a large selection for kids. There are 2 music entertainment systems plus a Bluetooth speaker system to link to smart phones/tablets.
There are several games and jigsaws plus a small pool table in the barn. There are various garden games plus 4 bikes available to guests to use.

Garden and outside
There is a large garden area plus a seating area close to the pool for relaxing. In addition there are several other seating areas shaded or otherwise for guests to chose from.
There is plenty of space to the front of the property for car parking. The main barn can also be used to park cars in.

A car is reccommended to get the best out of the property, it’s a 15 minute drive to the main town, Montbron, which has bars, restaurants, supermarkets banks etc, or 20 minutes to the very attractive town of La Rochefoucauld which has more restaurants and even larger supermarkets.
