The house is  comfortable and well-equipped. The kitchen provides a modern work area with a gas hob, large fridge, microwave and other small electrical appliances including a coffee maker 
The lounge is well furnished with large sofas and UK free view TV, a music tower, with  ipod dock. There is a washing machine and a further fridge/freezer in the Summer Kitchen. The open plan lounge leads to the dining area, with dining table which can seat up to eight. A conservatory leads from the kitchen into the garden.

On the first floor there is a double bedroom  with its own private balcony, offering table and chairs and amazing views. Also on the first floor is the twin room and the family bathroom.  There is a  mezzanine sleeping area with a double bedroom and its own shower room. They are all well-furnished and make the property homely and inviting. 
Relax in the extensive garden which offers a choice of terraces and patios, both sunny and shady, or take a refreshing dip in the pool. Lounge amongst the shrubs, vines and many fruit trees. Indulge yourself with fresh fruit from the many fruit trees: figs, pomegranate, pears, cherry, persimmon and quince. There is off street parking for several cars and the grounds are fully enclosed.

The property is elevated and accessed via stairs so may not be suitable for guests with impaired mobility. It is also not suitable for younger gusets. 

The pool is a uniform 1.5 m depth and is not suitable for non swimmers. 

Pieusse is located southeast of Carcassonne, northeast of Limoux about three km towards Saint-Hilaire, overlooking the River Aude. It is located on a hill overlooking the valley north of Razes. Towards the east, the hills are covered with vineyards which produce the Blanquette de Limoux . There is plenty of opportunity to visit vineyards and taste the local produce. This property is ideally situated for both walkers and cyclists and it is only a short train ride into Carcassonne. The area is steeped in history and is a must for history buffs. A 20 minute walk into Limoux to catch a train to Carcassonne, or to relax in the bustling square in Limoux.
