Pieusse is located southeast of Carcassonne, northeast of Limoux about three km towards Saint-Hilaire, overlooking the River Aude. It is located on a hill overlooking the valley north of Razes. Towards the east, the hills are covered with vineyards which produce the Blanquette de Limoux . There is plenty of opportunity to visit vineyards and taste the local produce. This property is ideally situated for both walkers and cyclists and it is only a short train ride into Carcassonne. The area is steeped in history and is a must for history buffs. A 20 minute walk into Limoux to catch a train to Carcassonne, or to relax in the bustling square in Limoux.
