Lanes End is a beautifully restored, traditional, detached whitewashed fisherman's cottage. The cottage is set at the end of a country lane in a small hamlet next to the river Belon in a quiet rural location. Recently renovated, the original features have been retained where possible to enhance the traditional charm of this wonderful Brittany cottage. With the high beamed ceilings and exposed stone fireplace, the cottage is also tastefully decorated and furnished throughout in a traditional style. Set within its own secluded garden, this beautiful Finistere holiday home offers its guests glimpses of the surrounding woods and fields with a nearby footpath that leads directly down to the river. On the ground floor, as you make your way through the front door and down a small step, you will find a spacious open plan living room / dining room. There are armchairs, a comfortable sofa, TV with English satellite programmes and a DVD player in the living area. The dining room has an oak floor and comfortable seats for up to 6. It also looks out over the garden. From the dining area there is a door that leads you to a fully equipped kitchen with access to the outside terrace and garden. An electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, electric kettle, fridge, and a full range of kitchen implements can all be found in the kitchen. A combined shower / utility room can also be found on the ground floor with its large shower, washbasin and washing machine. Comfortably sleeping up to 4 people there is a staircase leading up from the living room to the first floor where you will find two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the second with two single beds and a modern bathroom with wash basin, bath and a toilet Outside the cottage you can enjoy the secluded garden with its spacious lawn area and lovely outdoor terrace. There is plenty of garden furniture that includes a table and chairs and awning. Picnic and barbecue equipment are also provided. Private off road parking is also available. The cottage offers its guest the perfect combination of a peaceful and quiet environment and the perfect base to explore the surrounding area with easy access to a wide range of activities. The beaches and coastal paths offering spectacular views are just a five minute drive away, where there are a number of opportunities for swimming, walking, fishing and cycling. Consisting of just a dozen or so houses and a working stable which offers pony trekking for all ages, the tiny hamlet of Kervignes is situated on a ridge above the river Belon which is famed for its oysters. The river is just a three minute walk down the footpath or road where you will find a network of footpaths. For shopping, the nearest facilities can be found in Kergroes, approximately two miles away you will find a fantastic bakery, convenience store and a garage. In market town of Moelan you will find a large supermarket, a great selection of traditional shops and lots of places to eat.

Special Rental Conditions
All prices based on a maximum of 4 people. Prices include electricity for cooking and heating and a basic clean at the end of the stay.
Bed linen, towels, and tea towels if required can be provided for £5.00 per person.
To secure a booking a non-refundable deposit of £50 is required plus a further refundable £50 to cover possible damage or breakages. The balance will be due two weeks before arrival.
Bookings for less than a week or mid week bookings may also be possible.
