Family 2 Bedroom Apartment with Panoramic Mountain Views - Plein Sud 7

PLEIN SUD 7: This lovely and well appointed apartment overlooking the village is a great choice for a holiday apartment for a small family! Ideal for winter ski trips, summer activity holidays or peaceful getaways between seasons. Please note that during the winter season, our bookings run from Sunday to Sunday during the peak season (Xmas / New Year and the February holidays) and drop to 4 days minimum stay in low season. 

From the sunny balcony of this little apartment, the full panorama of mountain views opens up in front of you - the view is amazing! Pleney, Nyon and Chamossiere peaks - and you'll have a window seat for the weekly torchlight descent and firework display! In summer you can make the most of the full south facing position, and enjoy your aperitifs or lunches around the high table, with a wind-out sunshade available if it's too hot. 

The main room contains a kitchen and dining area and a relaxing area opposite the wall-mounted TV. The contemporary kitchen is compact but perfect for preparing meals - there's a big fridge, a combi oven-microwave, and induction hob and dishwasher. Plenty of extra gadgets re available too: filter coffee machine, Senseo coffee maker (takes coffee sachets), a fondue set, a raclette / pierrade machine and a crepe / waffle maker. The dining table has bench and chairs seating 4, and there's a comfortable sofa . Through a door into the sleeping area is a shower room with 4kg washing machine, a separate WC, and a curtained sleeping area with bunk beds - one is 1.20m and the other 90cm. At the front is a bright small double bedroom with king size bed and storage on either side of the bed. 

The apartment is 36 square metres and has central heating, an allocated outdoor parking space and a private ski locker on the same floor. There are 2 flights of stairs to get to the apartment including one flight from the car park to the front door. Bedlinen and towels are provided for the number of people named on your booking form. End of stay cleaning is included for all ski season bookings - for the rest of the year there is a supplement of €50, payable on arrival at the apartment.  We have been running Mountain Highs holiday company since 1995 and we have an excellent reputation for looking after our guests at all stages of their holiday. Plein Sud is situated in a residential area overlooking the town and the surrounding mountains, 3 mins drive from town. It takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the centre of town and 20-25 minutes to walk back up. During the winter season there is a free local bus which stops 50m down the road every 40 min from 8am to 7pm (with a  break 12.00 - 14.00) and takes 10 minutes to get to the Pleney slopes. The service operates from approx 17th Dec to 10th April. It's absolutely worth staying uphill a bit for the amazing views! The parking place is number 2. There is no garage or bike locker with this property. For those with bikes you can store them on the balcony (space for 2 bikes), if you are careful taking them through the apartment. 

Geneva Airport transfers: We operate our own airport transfer service in our licensed taxi minibus, which seats max 8 passengers in comfort with plenty of luggage space (VW Caravelle 4 x 4 long wheel base). We can offer shared transfers or private transfers, always door-to-door (unlike some transfer services who will drop you at the bus station!) – contact us for a competitive quote (Prices range from €95 per person return based on 4 travelling together, down to €66pp return for 8 travelling together) / €530 for a private transfer.

Lift pass purchase: We are able to arrange your lift passes in advance of your stay, so that they’re ready on your arrival at the apartment. We can take payment for these by credit card or bank transfer in advance, or cash on arrival in resort. We offer lower rates on area and local passes than you can buy in resort. IMPORTANT: DAMAGE DEPOSIT / CLEANING. We take a €300 Damage Deposit prior to your arrival. This can be paid via credit / debit card or bank transfer (Revolut preferred). We refund this deposit within 3 days of your departure. It is also possible to pay by French cheque. We will hold the Damage deposit until we have received the keys back and have been able to properly check the property. Please note the deposit rises to €500 for summer mountain biking groups and at our discretion.  In winter (14 Dec - 22 April) the end of stay is included in the rate. For all the rest of the year, when rates are very much lower we charge a cleaning fee of 50 Eur payable on arrival. This simply covers the wages of the cleaning team.

BIKE PASSES Summer 2025: The PDS bike pass for 6 days costs €204 per adult, €153 per child aged 5 – 15, and €183 for "youth" (ages 16 - 25) if you buy them at the lift pass office. We can obtain passes for you at a discount of 7.5%, i.e €189 per adult and €141.50 per child, €169 ages 16- 25. You will need to book these in advance of your stay – you can pay for them by card or bank transfer in advance, or cash on arrival. After booking I will be able to send you links to the bike parks of Morzine and Avoriaz and also timetables of the summer lifts. Minimum 3 days, maximum 13 days.
