Just 10 minutes from Bordeaux, Château Gassies is that rare find with a serious "wow" factor. Set on a hill within a 14-hectare estate, it offers incredible views over the valley and an atmosphere that is both grand and welcoming.
Here’s how your time at the Château unfolds:
The Ceremony: Say your vows in the dappled light of the Oak Grove or in one of the charming covered courtyards if you prefer a cozy, sheltered feel.
Golden Hour: Head to the West Terrace for drinks. Watching the sunset over Bordeaux next to the giant ancient cedar tree is a moment your guests will never forget.
The Party: Dinner is served in the "Charles X" room a stunning space with stone walls and chandeliers.
The Slow Morning: The day after, keep the celebration going with a laid-back poolside brunch to swap stories from the night before.
The best part? You don't have to leave. The estate sleeps 43 people in beautifully styled suites and guesthouses.

Our six spacious suites combine character, comfort, and understated elegance. Each is individually styled with carefully selected antiques, offering a unique atmosphere within generous volumes. All suites are air-conditioned and connected to fibre optic broadband.
Guests enjoy full access to the château’s facilities, including a heated outdoor pool (seasonal), hammam, sauna, fitness room, and tennis court.

Our largest suite, south-facing with park views, featuring an en-suite bathroom and separate toilet. A refined and timeless space.

Bright and comfortable, south-facing with an en-suite bathroom and peaceful outlook.

Our only twin suite (two single beds), offering the same elegance and comfort, with park views.

Located on the ground floor, this suite is adapted for guests with reduced mobility. It features garden access, park views, and a bathroom with bath and shower.

Just 10 minutes from Bordeaux TGV station, our three independent guesthouses—Orangerie, Calèche, and Vignes—are set within the château’s private grounds.
Each offers a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, comfortable living space, and air-conditioned bedrooms, ideal for a more private stay. Guests also enjoy access to all estate facilities.
The Guesthouses
Orangerie (220 m²)
A spacious home with 4 en-suite bedrooms, accommodating 8 to 13 guests. Features include a large living area, fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and outdoor terrace with barbecue.
Calèche (160 m²)
Offering 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, this guesthouse accommodates 6 to 10 guests. Includes generous living spaces, two fireplaces, and a private terrace.
Vignes (62 m²)
A charming apartment accessed via a spiral staircase, featuring one en-suite bedroom and an open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area.
