Chateau with Beautiful Private Grounds and Swimming Pool, near Bergerac - Chateau de la Ressegue

Located just 5 minutes from the lively market town of Bergerac, yet in a pretty countryside location, the Chateau de la Ressegue is the ideal location for short breaks or holidays, celebrations and reunions for up to 6 guests. Bergerac offers direct flights to and from the U.K as well as boasting exquisite local cuisine and world famous vineyards. The Chateau sits within beautiful private grounds and has a large swimming pool. The picturesque surrounding woodland is a haven for a relaxing break, strolling in the grounds and woodland, sitting by a roaring log fire or in the summer months relaxing by the pool and eating al fresco. The welcoming elegant spacious rooms and extensive grounds provide room for rest and relaxation.

The area is famed for its archaic historical sites and is within easy reach of all the famous 'Perigord' tourist attractions. The Chateau de la Cheine is in the local commune of Ginestet a predominantly wine and agricultural area. The chateau offers 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 WCs. On the ground floor there is a kitchen with all the necessary appliances, a living room with a fireplace with dining table. There is a piano, Wi-Fi access, Livebox, Satellite TV with English channels and outside table tennis (summer only).

We are offering 3 double bedrooms with beautiful views. The chateau has central heating, and all bed linen and towels are provided. The large park to the rear of the manor offers space aplenty for outdoor games, and a BBQ area. Dining outside in the garden is a must as is taking a dip in the private swimming pool (with alarm system properly certified).

Situated just five minutes from the historic market town of Bergerac, one is ideally positioned to visit the many attractions of the Dordogne. The chateau is in the local commune of Ginestet a predominantly wine and agricultural area. From the Chateau de la Cheine you may easily access the towns of Bordeaux (1.5 hours), St Emillion (1 hour), Sarlat (1 hour), Perigueux (30 mins), and Limoges (2 hours). Local activities include cycling, fishing, golf, horse riding, mountain biking, swimming, tennis and wine tastings. Meals can be catered for by your hosts. A popular option is to have a meal ready for you on arrival. Typically a 4 course supper will cost 35 euros per head with local wine to get you started, the table will be laid and guests serve themselves. This is for a minimum of 6 people.
