Once a royal hunting lodge belonging to Princess Adélaïde, sister of King Louis-Philippe, the château formed part of the Royal Domain of Randan. One of the great advantages of Château de Maulmont is its exclusivity. Only one event is hosted at a time, allowing guests to enjoy the château and its facilities privately throughout their stay.

The estate is suitable for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, family gatherings, residential seminars, conferences, product launches, corporate events, golfing groups, car rallies and other organised stays.

Whether planning a celebration or professional gathering, the château can adapt its accommodation and reception spaces around the individual requirements of the group.

ACCOMMODATION FOR LARGE GROUPS

The château provides an impressive collection of individually styled bedrooms, suites and apartments, with accommodation available for up to approximately 64 guests when additional beds are included.

The bedrooms retain much of the character of this former royal hunting lodge, with beautiful oak panelling and individually designed interiors.

Several bedrooms can be configured with either a large double bed or two single beds, providing useful flexibility for families, wedding parties and corporate groups.

There are also two family suites, together with an accessible ground-floor suite offering direct access from the terrace.

Individual rooms are not normally offered separately, with accommodation forming part of a larger château or event booking.

WEDDINGS & PRIVATE CELEBRATIONS

With its romantic towers, beautiful parkland and views across the Allier Valley, Château de Maulmont provides an outstanding backdrop for a destination wedding in the heart of France.

The impressive oak-panelled Great Hall can be combined with a purpose-built 82 m² marquee opening onto the terrace, creating a wonderful reception space with views across the valley.

Together, the main hall and marquee can seat approximately 100 guests with space for dancing, while the main hall alone can accommodate smaller receptions.

The château also has a 45 m² bar and additional smaller reception rooms, offering flexibility for different parts of your celebration.

CEREMONIES, TERRACES & BEAUTIFUL GROUNDS

There are numerous possibilities for ceremonies and celebrations throughout the estate.

A charming pergola occupies a peaceful position overlooking the lakes and provides a particularly attractive setting for wedding ceremonies and vow renewals.
