LE DOMAINE DE MARCULFO – CHARMING BED & BREAKFAST AND PRIVATE LODGE NEAR OMAHA BEACH, NORMANDY

Discover Le Domaine de Marculfo, a beautifully restored former presbytery offering charming bed and breakfast accommodation and a private holiday lodge in the peaceful Normandy countryside. Situated in Saint-Marcouf, Calvados, this welcoming retreat combines historic character, stylish interiors and modern comforts, just a short drive from the famous D-Day landing beaches.

Perfect for romantic weekends, couples, families and visitors exploring Normandy's history, Le Domaine de Marculfo offers three individually furnished guest rooms and a separate 50 m² lodge with its own private garden.

Ideally positioned approximately 15 minutes from Omaha Beach, 25 minutes from Bayeux and 40 minutes from Caen, the property provides an excellent base for discovering Normandy's historic towns, coastline and countryside.

A BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED NORMANDY COUNTRY HOUSE

Le Domaine de Marculfo occupies a former presbytery, thoughtfully renovated to preserve its traditional charm while introducing contemporary comfort.

The property enjoys a tranquil village setting, surrounded by gardens and attractive rural landscapes.

Each guest room has been individually decorated, with comfortable furnishings, garden views and thoughtful touches designed to make every stay relaxing.

For families or groups wishing to reserve all the guest rooms together, guests have access to a comfortable communal living and dining area throughout the day. Please note, however, that the kitchen is not available for guests' independent use. The main house is therefore offered exclusively as bed and breakfast accommodation rather than a self-catering holiday home.

THREE COMFORTABLE GUEST ROOMS WITH GARDEN VIEWS

The three beautifully appointed guest rooms each accommodate two people and measure approximately 20 m².

All feature comfortable double beds, private entrances, flat-screen televisions with cable channels, complimentary Wi-Fi, heating, wardrobes and courtesy trays.

Private bathrooms include showers, hairdryers, towels, slippers and complimentary toiletries.

Guests also have access to a communal lounge, where complimentary tea and coffee are available throughout the day.

HONFLEUR ROOM – KING-SIZE COMFORT

The Honfleur Room is a bright and inviting double bedroom with lovely garden views.

Furnished with a generous 180 x 200 cm king-size bed, the room provides a relaxing retreat after a day exploring Normandy.

A private shower room is located immediately adjacent to the bedroom, while attractive wooden flooring and tasteful furnishings complete the atmosphere.

HOULGATE ROOM – PEACEFUL GARDEN VIEWS

The Houlgate Room offers a tranquil setting, with a 160 x 200 cm double bed and views across the garden.

This elegant 20 m² bedroom includes a private entrance, flat-screen television, courtesy tray and a private shower room situated next to the bedroom.

Its understated decoration makes it ideal for a relaxing countryside break.

DEAUVILLE ROOM – CHARACTER AND CHARM

The Deauville Room combines contemporary comfort with the character of the original building.

Featuring a decorative fireplace and a spacious 180 x 200 cm king-size bed, this attractive room offers garden views and a welcoming atmosphere.

Unlike the other guest rooms, the private shower room is situated within the bedroom accommodation.

L'ESCALE D'OMAHA – PRIVATE HOLIDAY LODGE WITH GARDEN

For guests seeking additional space and independence, L'Escale d'Omaha offers a delightful 50 m² private lodge accommodating two people.

Set in peaceful surroundings with its own private garden, this comfortable holiday accommodation provides an inviting base for exploring the Normandy coast and D-Day heritage sites.

The lodge features a separate living area, air conditioning, heating, flat-screen television, complimentary Wi-Fi and a private entrance.

Additional amenities include a desk, wardrobe, ironing facilities and a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, towels, slippers and complimentary toiletries.

Ideal for couples seeking a romantic escape or a peaceful holiday near Omaha Beach, L'Escale d'Omaha combines privacy, comfort and a convenient location.

Guests can enjoy pastries, homemade jams, seasonal fruit and artisan honey produced by a local beekeeper.

Breakfast is served in the welcoming dining room or outdoors overlooking the garden when the weather allows.

PACKED LUNCHES FOR DAYS EXPLORING NORMANDY

Guests planning a full day of sightseeing can arrange a freshly prepared packed lunch.

These convenient lunch baskets feature locally sourced ingredients, including sandwiches, fresh salads, seasonal fruit and homemade sweet treats.

Packed lunches are available at an additional charge and should be ordered in advance, ideally the previous day or when making your reservation.
