The Raysse Estate

Booking the Château provides exclusive use of the entire estate, including the Château, Maison du Parc, and the Pigeonnier apartment. Altogether, the estate offers 15 elegant ensuite bedrooms, plus two additional bedrooms with a shared bathroom in the apartment, comfortably accommodating up to 38 guests.

Additional Accommodation & Location

For larger groups, additional accommodation for up to 10 guests is available nearby through a neighbouring holiday villa. There are also several Airbnb and VRBO properties in the village, as well as charming hotels in nearby Souillac, just five minutes away. A picturesque campsite and glampsite can also be found within walking distance of the château.

The estate enjoys a peaceful countryside location overlooking the Dordogne Valley while remaining close to local restaurants and shops. Brive Airport is only 30 minutes away, with Bergerac, Limoges, Bordeaux, and Toulouse airports also within easy reach. Souillac train station is located on the direct Paris line, and the road connections throughout the region are excellent.

Weddings & Events

Château du Raysse provides a stunning setting for weddings, celebrations, and private events. Exchange vows beneath the romantic stone archway framed by cypress trees before enjoying cocktails on the lawns beside the château’s medieval tower.

The Maison Garden offers space for outdoor dining for up to 90 guests, while indoor spaces including the dining hall, library, and Maison Hall provide elegant alternatives for receptions, ceremonies, dining, or dancing. The Maison Hall accommodates up to 70 seated guests and includes a PA system available throughout your stay.
