Les Rochers is a former 16th century manor house that has been completely renovated. The idea was to contrast the old walls with art and classic furniture from Art Deco to modern design. Located on the border between the departments of La Manche and the Calvados, our house is the ideal starting point to explore Normandy. Nestled in the Norman fields, Les Rochers offers relaxation and absolute tranquility.
Cerisy la Forêt is a small village of 900 inhabitants, situated between Bayeux and Saint Lô. It boasts an 11th-century abbey that is a jewel of Roman art and architecture and a nearby national forest. The Landing Beaches are also closeby.
The 5 very spacious rooms are individually curated with antiques, vintage and contemporary art from a family heritage, creating a stylish, lived-in feel that respects the buildings history while embracing quiet sophistication.
Breakfast is enjoyed in the "Auberge", a beautifully renovated barn filled with character. Each morning Susanna and Konstantin serve local flavors with a daily surprise, a changing selection of sweet and savory treats, always thoughtfully prepared.
A fully equipped shared kitchen, housed in the "Auberge" is a core part of the guest experience. Guests are free to prepare their own dinners with ease. Guests sometimes love cooking together, complete with jazz background music.
The garden and surrounding fields offer a peaceful pastoral escape. different sitting areas are perfect for reading, sipping coffee or simply enjoying birdsong. It's a place where time slows, nature is close.
