It has central heating and also a wood stove, a fully equipped kitchen, Internet / TV / CD player etc. The garden is fully equipped with a charcoal barbecue, sunbeds, and a table to eat outside and on the terrace.
In the Summer, guests are able to appreciate the beautiful view of the surrounding mountains with its terrace of 15 m2. During Winter months, enjoy the peace and tranquility in front of a wood fire.
It is located 2 km from Abondance, at the foot of the large animal reserve of Mont de Grange (2500 m), but also 6 km from the Portes du Soleil ski area (600 kms of slopes), in a hamlet at 1100 m altitude.
There is much to do in the nearby and surrounding area within a radius of 25 km: Lake Geneva with the cities of Thonon, Evian, day trips to Switzerland etc.
Abondance is a dreamy place for hikers, for skiing, and tourism in general:
- In the summer, thanks to the Portes du Soleil Multipass guests can enjoy many sports activities at very attractive prices.
- In the Winter guests can benefit from the important ski area of the Portes du Soleil (Châtel Avoriaz ...) and guests staying at Chalet Abondance will be offered discounts on the rental of ski equipment. Abondance, is an ideal resort for families, with many activities.
This village has kept its authenticity and its traditions.
Guests can also enjoy the local cuisine, including the fabulous cheeses on sale in the farms of the valley.
