The large welcoming street door leads up a pretty path to the entrance door. The accommodation comprises 4 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms have fire places together with wonderful comfortable lounging areas within the bedrooms. There are 3 separate very spacious sitting rooms, an independent office,separate dining hall and a cosy breakfast area. The kitchen is also very spacious and has recently been renovated. It is fully equipped with an american fridge, breakfast area, dishwasher and Gas cooker with 2 ovens. The dining room has vaulted ceilings and is very large.
The property benefits from satellite television with worldwide channels, all film and international sporting channels, Netflix and Apple TV. It has a recently designed and furnished cinema room, perfect for when you plan on staying in.
The beautifully maintained garden is full of orange, lemon, olive, apricot and palm trees aswell as roses and jasmin.There is a spectacular waterfall feature that illuminates at night. The Old Pottery was originally built in the 17h century constructed completely with local stone
The wall are between 2 an 1 meter thick in order or to insulate from the heat to be retained for curing the and storing the products It also insulates from the full heat of he day from the outside and from the cold in the winter
It manufactured the hand made Provencal Garden Jars and pottery that you can still see and also find in the Biot Museum today.
In the Fifties a very famous French film director call Claude Autant Laura saw the potential in converting The Old pottery into a very large Family Home
Claude Lara played host to many of the Artists that lived in the area including Picasso Fernidand Leger,,Marc Chaghal ,Raymond Peynet………….
The villa was further modernized 15 Years ago by an Italian Porche car racing test driver
