Beautiful Bed and Breakfast in The Natural Park of Verdon, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie - Le Mas du Loup

This wonderful Bed and Breakfast is situated in the Regional Natural Park of Verdon and is nestled at the foot of the village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. It comprises of 5 bedrooms, each with their own private terrace, garden furniture and ensuite bathroom, not to mention beautiful views of the village!

The property is located in a quiet area and is very secure, with an electric gated front entrance. 

The Mas du Loup will warmly welcome you to rest and relax. After a continental breakfast, you can go hiking, wonder at the provencal markets, refresh yourself in the lake, and if you are keen to explore the area more, we are more than happy to assist you and show you the best things to see and do.  You can also spend your time lazing about (napping, sunbathing, reading...) In the evenings, guests can enjoy the wonderful gourmet restaurants that are a stones' throw away, from simple fare to haute cuisine - they are all within walking distance. 

All the bedrooms are on the same level with private patios.
 *The Provence Room offers 2 single beds. 
 *The Coquelicot, Wolf, Italian and Oriental Rooms all offer Queen size beds.

A gourmet breakfast is served each morning from 8:30 until 10:00 outdoors or indoors if the weather doesn't allow. It is also possible to book a full picnic basket with a days' notice, to take with you during lovely walks. 

Moustiers-Sainte-Marie is a small village located on a remarkable site where lakes, mountains and fields of lavender rub shoulders.

There is access to 12 hikes from the easiest to the most difficult directly from the house on foot! An extremely varied range of hiking trails are available to you, between scrubland and forest, gorges and plateaus, lavender and olive trees, cliffs and turquoise waters. There are many opportunities for walks from the village of Moustiers or in the Gorges du Verdon (Martel trail, Imbut trail, fisherman's trail).

Other activities: paragliding, gliding, bungee jumping.

Lake St. Croix is an artificial lake with turquoise waters created following the disappearance of a village 4 km from Moustiers Sainte Marie. It is framed by the hills of Haut Var and the Valensole plateau, and these waters are ideal for water sports and swimming. The lake extends about 10 km long and 3 km wide, a total area of 2,200 hectares.

Water activities: sailing, windsurfing, catamaran, fishing, pedal boating, canoeing, boat tours.

The Gorges of Verdon are the largest canyon in Europe and in some places, reach 700m deep.These gorges offer many sports opportunities including hiking trails of all levels along the shores and water activities.
It is also possible to walk the gorge by car, following the Route des Crêtes or that of the Corniche Sublime.They are situated as such to allow frequent stops at the lookout spots, from which one can enjoy an exceptional view.
