Our spacious 3 double bedroom villa is located in Leucate Village in the south of France, between Perpignan and Narbonne, with breathtaking views of the majestic Pyrenees and 10 minutes walk from a beautiful sandy Mediterranean beach.
Our terraced villa is well appointed and of modern construction and will sleep up to 6 people. It has 3 double bedrooms. Upstairs there is 2 double bedrooms, one double and 2 singles and a family bathroom, will a standard bath and shower. There is also a large mezzaine, with a desk and sofa. Patio doors lead out onto the roof terrace, which has panoramic views accross the lake and towards the mediterranean.Beutiful place to sit for your early morning coffee.
Downstairs is the 3rd double bedroom with a double bed and en suite shower room. The large open plan lounge/ dinner/kitchen has comfortable seating for 6 on sofas and dining table for 6 and a smart TV. The kitchen is fully equiped with oven, hob, fridgefreezer microwave. A utility room for the washing machine and extra storage space. the lounge leads directly to the fully enclosed, rear garden, which also has views of the lake and sea. The patio style garden, complete with BBQ dining table for 6, is ideal for al fresco dining and offers a safe environment for children.There are 6 sunloungers and a large parasol. There is a small front garden, with a bench for the late afternoon sun.
Leucate is a uniquely situated friendly traditional French village and is the ideal place to spend a brilliant holiday. The beautiful wide sandy Mediterranean beach is 10 mins walk or cycle ride.away.
Leucate is renowned for it’s water sports, therefore there are many activities locally and places of interest to visit within 2 hours drive. such as Barcelona, Collioure, Carcassonne, Narbonne, Perpignan or Font Romeu. A short walk from our villa in Leucate you will find lots of restaurants and cafes (at least 10), all differing in style, ranging from reasonably priced to high-end cuisine. They provide a range of local specialities such as the local fish, fruits de mer, tapas, oysters and moules et frites.
There are also many shops in Leucate village including a supermarket, several boulangerie, boutiques, gift shops, newsagents, delicatessen, butchers and a twice weekly market.
Most importantly for all wine lovers the village has various wine shops and the village winery (Cave co operative) offering a wide selection of quality local wines at great prices. Wine tasting is always on offer.
