Situated in La Digne d' Amont, on the outskirts of Limoux, Maison Milne villa rental is the perfect base from which to explore Languedoc-Rousillon Region. You have the choice of Mediterranean coast to Ski resorts in the Pyrenees.
La Digne D' Amont is a small village set in vineyards of the Aude valley only a few minutes drive from the bustling market town of Limoux
This superb holiday rental villa comprises four spacious bedrooms and can up to sleep 8 people. There is also a full size cot, a travel cot and a pushchair.
The Villa boasts a modern Kitchen which is light and well equipped with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside.
There is a spacious lounge with leather sofas, a dining area for six, Freesat TV / recorder, DVD, CD & ipod players and log fire.
The bathroom has a full size bath with shower over, hand basin and WC; there is also a separate WC.
The well stocked utility room contains a large fridge / freezer, washing machines and tumble dryer, and for the beach or picnics whilst exploring there is a picnic hamper, cool boxes, beach towels, indoor and outdoor games.
The house is bordered by a mountain stream and vineyards, whilst the rear of the garden is mature, private and convenient for sunbathing or relaxing, barbecues or parties...
Local activities you could indulge in whilst staying at the house include, rafting in the Aude gorge, hydrospeed and canoeing. Accro parcs, mountain biking, fishing and swimming in the natural mineral water pool are available at Alet les Bains.
Cycling is very popular because of the endless mountain roads and little traffic, the less enthusiastic can hire bikes and ride along the Canal Du Midi. Walking along the Canal or indeed anywhere in the Pyrenees and the Corbières hills is fantastic.
For those less keen on strenuous activities, there are vineyards of the Languedoc scattered through this region. Be sure to visit some and sample the local wine or take a tour to learn more about the wine making process.....
