This recently renovated Creuse cottage can accommodate up to 12 guests in 5 bedrooms and is situated in a rural tranquil location This cottage would make ideal accommodation for families or friends seeking peace and quiet, yet it is within easy reach of the many attractions and activities available locally.
The accommodation of this tastefully decorated and furnished Limousin holiday cottage comprises of 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a separate WC. The well equipped kitchen has an electric oven, four hobs, integrated fridge and separate freezer, dish washer, washing machine, microwave, toaster and is fully equipped to cater for 12 guests. There are 2 additional fridges in the 2nd reception.
The spacious lounge is comfortably furnished and has a large fireplace with log burner, sofas and arm chairs. TV set with UK freeview and a DVD player. There is a further reception room which is partly furnished and could be used for a variety of purposes, children's play room, or a quiet reading room. The cottage features a large patio area with access to the well maintained garden with large table and BBQ for fans of Al fresco cooking.
The one acre garden boasts expansive views across the surrounding countryside, and there is a grassed area for ball games, plus an orchard.
Guests of the cottage have a large choice of attractions to choose from locally. There are several pristine rivers and lakes nearby, the closest lake for swimming is St Dizier Leyrenne which features a small beach and is just 5 mins by car. Gueret is only 25 minutes drive and features a paddling pool with fountain, children's play area, extensive trim trail, a BBQ area, numerous water sport facilities and a cafe. There is a superb children's club which is open during the months of July and August.
There are a selection of golf courses all within easy reach, Horse riding at St Dizier Leyrenne, a treetop adventure course with 7 different runs for different age/height groups and the beautiful natural landscape of Mont de Gueret has over 60kms of mountain bike tracks and hiking trails for all levels. The cottage is surrounded by picturesque villages and towns, most hosting weekly markets where it is possible to purchase the local produce and wonderful wines.
