Lovely cottages (gîtes) situated in the Cognac region of the sunny department of Charente Maritime, in a beautiful rural landscape on the edge of the small quiet village Le Gicq, 30 mins North of Cognac and 20 mins East of St Jean d'Angely.
There are 3 separate Charente Maritime holiday rental cottages at La Forge. Two cottages sleeping 4 persons, and one 2-person cottage - Le Chai. All the holiday properties are comfortable, well equipped and enjoy access to a large shared swimming pool with its own patio area. The Charente Maritime rental cottages have been recently created from a charming stone barn restoration.
Le Chai is perfect for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and immerse themselves in the relaxing local French culture. Chose to Lounge around our 11 x 5m large, heated swimming pool with patio area or perhaps take a trip to one of the local beaches and enjoy our stunning climate, second only to the French Riviera.
This one bedroom accommodation is situated in an original stone built Charentaise barn that has been fully modernised to cater for your every 21st century need. The gite is set on the in a beautiful rural landscape with vines and sunflowers in the heart of Cognac country.
