This large farmhouse rental comprises 7 spacious bedrooms and is set in 45 acres of grounds. This wonderful property makes an ideal base for up to 15 guests wishing to explore further the delights of the Midi-Pyrenees, Haute-Garonne region of France.
The restored farmhouse rental, with orchard and herb garden and various terraces, has managed to retain many of the original features whilst featuring all the modern conveniences that guests would require for a comfortable stay.
The 7 bedrooms of the farmhouse include a mixture of king size, super king and twin beds. Travel cots are also available for guests travelling with babies, plus 4 bathrooms, two of which are ensuite. The farmhouse has Oak beams, colombage walls and terracotta floors throughout. The spacious lounge and dining room has a reading room attached and French windows that open onto a large terrace that overlooks the garden and pool. A TV, DVD player and UK satellite channels are provided for entertainment when you are not embracing the beautiful surroundings.
With 45 acres to explore, comprising of well maintained gardens, meadows and woodland and activities available to guests such as Badminton, table tennis, basket ball, go-karts, balls, bats, hoops, rounders, swings, hammocks, football goal, croquet and boules, there is the slight possibility you might decide never to venture far from the farmhouse.
If you do manage to resist the charms of Esbayles and it's extensive grounds, take some time to explore your surroundings and you will be richly rewarded the pretty village of Boussan is minutes from your doorstep whilst the larger yet beautiful town of Aurignac is just a few minutes drive and provides all amenities from food shops, bar & restaurants to a little cinema!. Spend the day exploring its museum, church and old medieval streets that sit above the main town.
This region of France is well known for outdoor activities and you’ll be able to do everything from rafting & riding to cycling and hiking, not forgetting the fabulous regional cuisine, produce, and restaurants that are all around.
The house is available all year and with the Pyrenees less than an hour away there is skiing in the winter.
