The Neighborhood

5 minutes by car from old Lyon or Place Bellecour you are in town and quiet. Old Lyon is part of the territory classified as World Heritage by Unesco.
The old areas with narrow streets separate the buildings by traboules. Mix of genre mingle in the busy streets. A famous market is present every morning except Monday on the Quai St Antoine.

Lyon
"Best European weekend destination" according to the 2016 World Travel Awards, Lyon has been able to transform itself and offer a cultural offer marked by numerous festivals (Festival of Lights, Festival Lumière, Nuits Sonores, Biennale of art and dance, Quai du thriller, Woodstower…).
Unesco, which listed 500 ha of the city as a World Heritage Site, was not mistaken. The ocher colors of the facades of old Lyon and Croix-Rousse, the astonishing mixture of Gothic from the Middle Ages with the Italian Renaissance style gives it a unique charm. Between Saône and Rhône, the former capital of Gaul, silk and printing, Lyon the good living, has become one of the major metropolises of France and present-day Europe, economically, gastronomically and cultural with, in particular, the opening of the Musée des Confluences).
