This recently refurbished and tastefully decorated 2 bedroom house not only benefits from it's wonderful village location but it also has spectacular views across the Regino valley towards the sea.

The granite walls of this traditionally built building, house a well equipped kitchen with a fridge, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave, a wine rack and plenty of storage space.

The open plan lounge/dining room is tastefully furnished with a large sofa, easy chairs and a dining table with seating for 5 people

On the first floor of the house there are two bedrooms, one is a large double bedroom with en suite bathroom, and the other a twin bedroom which has an adjoining shower room with WC.

The thick stone walls offer respite from the hot Corsican sun, whilst the cast iron, wood burning stove provides comfort during the chillier nights.

In most villages life and daily routine revolve around the village square, Speloncato is no different, with it's friendly village shop stocking basic daily necessities as well a selection of fine local produce, such as cheese, olive oils and varied charcuterie.

Fresh bread can be purchased on a twice daily basis and fresh fish and fine cuts of meat are available to purchase from the vans which frequently visit the village.

If purchasing the local produce and cooking at your rental home then the village has
two bars/restaurants and just a short drive down the picturesque mountain roads are the coastal towns of Lozari and Ostraconi,

This part of Corsica is great for swimming and well known wind surfing. If staying on dry land is of more interest you could perhaps visit the vibrant towns of I'lle Rousse and Calvi where you can enjoy the beaches, bars and restaurants, or take a slow walk through the town for some retail therapy.

Sailing, diving, kite surfing, water skiing are all available to enjoy locally as well as boat trips to the wonderful nature reserve of Scandola.
