This Chateau achieves the difficult task of being trendy and stylish, yet utterly child-friendly. Ideal for families and group holidays, family reunions, girls weekends or that special celebration, it has the space, style and facilities to make a holiday eternally memorable.

Sleeping up to 26 people, the bedrooms are huge and all individually designed and equipped, as are the bathrooms - some with two tubs. All rooms have exclusive robes, fluffy towels for room and pool, bathing products, flat screen TVs and DVD players. Some even have wine chillers.

There are four massive salons for guest use, beautifully furnished and decorated mixing cool white plaster, original features and exposed ancient stone, and include fireplaces and log burners for those autumn evenings. All the salons have french windows opening onto the rear terrace and the formal gardens, and free wi-fi is available.

There is a Private Cinema with 9 foot screen and surround sound system and an extensive DVD library, and a Billiard Room with full size American Pool Table.

Catering is completely flexible, and anything can be arranged, from a one-off multi-course extravaganza, to a celebration barbecue, or three meals a day every day. You can even discuss and arrange menus before you arrive.

For those wanting to self-cater, not a problem. There is a full size Restaurant Kitchen for you to play at being Jamie in, fully equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils, a professional stove, oven, fridges, dishwashers - everything you need to create culinary masterpieces.

The huge Dining Hall with its lovely exposed stone walls is perfect for bedecking with candles for that special meal, and has seating for all 26 guests at the same time should you wish.

In the five acres of private grounds is the 14.5m x 6m Heated Swimming Pool. It is walled for security, and has the correct child-resistant gate latches. Around the pool itself is a paved terrace with plenty of sun loungers to laze on.

When the sunbathing gets too much, there is plenty to do.

Within a short drive are a Championship Level Karting Track, two Golf Courses, Kayaking, and a beautiful lake with man made sandy beach for those wishing to make sandcastles. There is horse riding, and an adventure park with bungee jump, tree walks and zip lines. Or maybe hire some bikes (contact details from the Chateau) and explore some of the miles of quiet, safe tracks all around the locality.

Wine or Cognac Tastings can be arranged, or simply sight-see the many beautiful towns and villages in the area.

The Chateau is less than 2 hrs from airports at Limoges, Bordeaux, Bergerac and Poitiers - all served by low cost airlines.

Angouleme Railway Station is 20 mins away, where there is a high-speed Train Service to Paris (2hrs 15mins)
