Special Rental Conditions
The property is normally available from Saturday to Saturday. The rental period shall commence at 4.00 pm on the first day and finish at 10.00 am on the last day. The Owner shall not be obliged to offer the accommodation before the time stated and the Client shall not be entitled to remain in occupation after the time stated. We ask you to plan your arrival between 4.00 pm and 7.00 pm. If this is not possible you have to contact the contactperson for the exact time before 10.00 am, It's possible that we have to charge some extra cost outside these hours.
2. Reservation
To reserve the Property, the Client should complete the booking form online. A booking cannot be confirmed until payment of the initial non-refundable deposit (one quarter of the total rent due) is received as cleared funds. Following receipt of the booking request and deposit, the Owner will send confirmation with extra information you need to know. The dispatch of confirmation is the formal acceptance of the booking.
3. Payment
A minimum deposit of 25% is required. Final payment (75%) must be made 8 weeks prior to arrival. If payment is not received by the due date, the Owner reserves the right to give notice in writing or by email that the reservation is cancelled. Reservations made within eight weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking. The Booking deposit of 25% or Bookings made less than 8 weeks prior to arrival require full payment within 5 days to confirm the booking. Also a security deposit of 100 (one hundred euros) is required in case of, for example, damage to the property or its contents, or equipment that has been made available for Client use during the rental period.
4. Cancellation
If you cancel your holiday the following applies: Bookings Cancelled longer then 30 days before arrival, will receive a refund 75%. Bookings Cancelled within 30 days for arrival, will receive no refund. Refunds will be made if the Owner is able to re-Iet the Property. The Client is strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for the Client and the Clients party's personal belongings, public liability, etc., since these are not covered by the Owner's insurance.]
5. Pets
Pets are not allowed.
6. Smoking
Smoking is not allowed in the house, it's only permitted on the terrace.
7. Cleaning
The Client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the Property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period. Although a final clean is included in the rental price, the Owner reserves the right to make a retention from the security deposit to cover additional cleaning costs if the Client leaves the Property in an unacceptable condition.
8. Complaints
If there are any complaints the Client has to turn to the contactperson. If the complain is not been settled by your satisfaction the Client has to turn to the Owner. Leaving the property without previous consultation and mutial harmonie, the Owner will not be obliged to any compensation. Complains which are not been settled properly must been send bij email within one week after the rental period.

The village has all the commerce and services you will need, ready at hand, to be able to maximize the enjoyment of your holiday: the boulangerie and butcher are just around the corner. There is also a supermarket, petrol station, post office, pharmacy, another butcher, a hairdresser, a newspaper agent, an antique store, 2 bars/cafes, 2 restaurants and, most important, a bank and a cash dispenser. There is a daily bus service to and from Carcassonne. And if you want going by car, Carcassonne and Narbonne is in reach within a 20 to 30 minutes drive.
Within a five minute walk you can eat in a great restaurant alongside the Canal du Midi. In the summertime you can watch free outdoor movies, put on by the town hall. Yes, they're in French, but that's why you're coming here, right?
A variety of mobile traders visit regularly, holding court in the market square and selling everything from fruit and vegetables, fish and charcuterie.
For a change of pace, make it a day at one of the many Mediterranean beaches within a 40 minutes drive, or how about a day trip to Spain, it's within easy reach. In only 90 minutes you can be lunching on the Costa Brava, exploring the Salvador Dali Museum or just enjoying the change of scenery.
The clock tic's here slowly, the food taste better, the wines are gorgeous and naturally there's always the sun!
