Le Fournil - 300 Year Old Longere Style Farmhouse in Indre, Azay le Ferron

Le Fournil and La Grange are a traditional stone ‘longère’ style farmhouse and its gîte, situated in a small hamlet just beyond the village of Azay le Ferron, in the heart of the French countryside.
The area is on the edge of the Brenne national park, popular with birdwatchers and nature lovers. 

The beautiful Loire Valley is famous throughout the world for it’s many opulent Châteaux and magnificent gardens. With many nearby activities such as golf, cycling and watersports, there is something for everyone.

LE FOURNIL - Le Fournil is a 300 year old longère style farmhouse which although recently updated, retains a wealth of original features such as beams, exposed stone walls and a huge working fireplace. The salon has easy chairs and a sofa as well as a dining table which comfortably seats ten. The television room has a flat screen TV with UK satellite channels, a DVD player, and WiFi.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the usual gadgets including microwave and dishwasher. There is a separate laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a range of equipment for babies and toddlers.

Downstairs there is a double bedroom with ensuite shower room, and a twin bedroom with separate bathroom with bath. Upstairs are a further two double bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom, and a twin bedroom as well as a further separate shower room. The soft Egyptian cotton sheets and the tranquillity of the French countryside will ensure a perfect night’s sleep!

Outside there is a patio with BBQ for alfresco dining, a large garden, and a 10 x 5 metre swimming pool,shared with La Grange, which is fully fenced to comply with French safety regulations.
The pool is heated from 1st May to 1st October.
