Holiday Cottage with Private Garden in Lignol, Southern Brittany - Hirondelle

Nestled in a forest clearing set in 14 acres of woodland and lawns are the wisteria covered, picture postcard cottages Hirondelle and Chouette. Situated just outside of the village of Lignol in Southern Brittany at the end of a private, long winding driveway. It is the perfect place to relax by the pool or explore the stunning Breton countryside littered with ancient towns and villages.

We are within 40 mins drive of the spectacular L'amor Plage. Even closer is the 7.5 mile long Lac de Guerledan for swimming, boating or dining at its many fabulous lakeside restaurants.
About the same distance is Lorient with its excellent clothes shops and world class marina,
There is an excellent supermarket which features a fresh fish counter only six mins drive away in Guemene sur Scoff and for your morning baguette and croissant Lignol has an award winning bakery which is comply a five minute walk across fields. The village also boasts a fishing lake which has animations for the children.

Hirondelle gite sleeps four and Chouette gite sleeps six.

Hirondelle:
Hirondelle sleeps four in two separate bedrooms it is spacious and comfortable. The downstairs offers a fully equipped kitchen and dining room which overlooks the gardens. Next door is a separate sitting room with wood burning fire. Just off the sitting room is a family bathroom. Walk upstairs onto a wide landing and there is a cosy twin bedded room and separate double bedroom which features a luxurious four poster, king sized bed and antique Breton wardrobe. These bedrooms are served by a toilet and washroom.

Both cottages are maintained to the highest standard.
Both are child friendly, we provide stairgates, high chairs and cots for the little ones. The older and more boisterous can roam around freely as there is no through traffic.
Each cottage has its own outside dining area with BBQ, tables, chairs and parasol. The cottages are served with fast wi fi, English TV, washing machine, a clothes drying area, hairdryers, bedding, towels and tea towels. There is ample parking to the front of each cottage. We are open all year round, take advantage of summer sun or cosy nights beside a wood burning fire.
We are pet friendly and welcome all animals.

Outdoors and indoor facilities:
Hidden behind the walled garden is a large heated swimming pool equipped with a picnic area and sun loungers. There is a children's play area with swings, table tennis and an exciting zip wire. Bikes are in plentiful supply.
We have a tandem for the more adventurous, and bike sizes ranging from the very young to adult frames.
Indoor facilities include a heated plunge pool and spa, full sized snooker table, table football, darts and a wide screened television.
