The most impressive part of the house is the vaulted ceiling in the main living room around the huge stone fireplace which now houses a large wood burning stove, as well as the ancient spiral stone staircase which leads to the mezzanine level housing a king sized four-poster bed.

Special Rental Conditions
At our Kergudon cottages to rent in Brittany we offer a 10% reduction on the second week. Our Terms and conditions can be found on our tariff page in case you’re interested.
To confirm a reservation we require a 50% deposit and then ask for the full balance payment 14 days prior to arrival.
Parties who have hired multiple gîtes have previously used Priory as the main dining and social space. We can assist with this if required by providing additional dining and seating capacity.
The Priory is a dog friendly gîte.

For both children and big kids the ‘Salle Des Jeux’ is located above the garage with a babyfoot table, pool table, electronic dartboard as well as other distractions for those less hot days in Finistère!
The games room is equipped with a projector and screen and can be reserved for a family film night in your own private cinema. We have a collection of DVD / BluRay discs to choose from or bring your family favourites.
Please note that we only have a very limited selection of PG & U rated DVD’s, so please bring your own kids favourites for younger children.
There is currently no WiFi service in the games room so please be aware that Netflix etc will not work.

The Petanque pitch at Kergudon Gites, opposite the garage, provides a wonderful opportunity to have a truly French experience and is a great occasion to get the whole family involved together and create some special memories during your holiday in Finistère

With such wonderful roads to explore in , Kergudon has become popular with drivers of classic marques and we have hosted Morgan, MG and Porsche owners and our luxury gîtes provide the perfect base from which to explore the exceptional driving routes and scenery. The garage at Kergudon can house 4 vehicles providing secure off street, covered parking. Two of the garage bays have lockable doors for guests who prefer a more secure parking spot.
Three Course Supper at Kergudon
In addition to the wonderful local restaurants of Finistère and the gourmet self-catering kitchens at Kergudon, we offer a three course supper option for guests. With a ‘home style’ feel everyone eats the same meal with a choice of classic and rustic Breton and French dishes all created from local fresh produce. Fishing Boat Hire

Fitness Studio
The ‘Salle de Sport’ at Kergudon is a small private fitness suite for all guests to use. Complete with Squat Rack, Bench Press, Swiss Ball, Dumbbells, Tubes, Mats, Step and music. David is a fully-qualified personal trainer by profession and can also be booked for private one-2-one or couples fitness sessions. All guests staying at Kergudon Gites are provided with beach towels so that’s one less thing to pack!

As well as complimentary WiFi inside each gîte both French and UK TV channels are available along with an extensive DVD library. Each gîte at Kergudon comes complete with a CD/Radio with Mp3. I-pod jacks are available to borrow.
Mobile phone coverage is poor/ non existant at Kergudon and in Saint-Cadou.
‘Fill-Your-Fridge’
If staying for a week or longer, to make your arrival as comfortable and stress-free as possible, we provide guests with a list of everyday groceries to choose from which, for a service charge of 17.50 EUR, we will purchase and un-pack in your kitchen ready for your arrival.
End-Of-Stay Cleaning
We ask guests to leave the gîte in the same clean state that they find it and to clean before your departure. However, if guests do not wish to clean their gîte at the end of their holiday, professional cleaners can be booked for a cleaning fee of 60 EUR.
Concierge (restaurant, vet, activity booking)
From lunch and dinner reservations to booking veterinary appointments, Ben and David are always on hand to make your bookings and help to organize activities and outings.

Within Saint-Cadou guests will find a traditional French bar ‘Pub St Hubert’, an organic bakery as well as local farm market on Friday evenings.
In the nearby town of Sizun (7km) guests will find all essential services they will require including local doctors, a pharmacy, mini-supermarket, 3 bakeries, a butcher, 2 banks, the Post Office, florist and an excellent bar / tabac, the Café Du Centre, for papers, coffee and magazines. Sizun market is on Wednesday mornings throughout the year.
