Our beautifully restored 16th century Breton Farmhouse complex is in a courtyard setting surrounded by lovely gardens including our large heated pool and children’s play barn. The farmhouse is situated in the rural heart of Brittany in the historic hamlet of Rosquelfen within very close proximity to the wonderful Lac De Guerledan considered one of the prettiest parts of Brittany, and easy driving distance from the beautiful Pink Granite Coast to the north, and the Gulf of Morbihan to the south. It is ideally placed as Gouarec is just a 3 minute drive (or 15 min walk) where you will find all the necessary amenities. Our Gites in Brittany offer a peaceful and private setting in a rural area of Brittany ideal for both exploring and relaxing. Both gites have been newly decorated and furnished providing comfortable accommodation for guests. Our holiday cottages are Les Chouettes which is named for our barn owls and sleeps 8 and Les Rossignols (nightingales), which sleeps up to 6.

Our pool is about 36 feet by 15 feet by 4 feet deep. It has a wide shallow Roman steps leading down into the main swimming area. These steps are ideal for toddlers and small children to paddle and play in the warm water. It is situated in its own garden surrounded by lawns, screened by shrubs and trees for your privacy. There are sun loungers, chairs, tables & parasols set around the pool. The pool is usually open from May to September.

Les Rossignols is an early 16th Century cottage in a typically Breton style sleeping 4/6 in two bedrooms with additional double sofa bed. The ground floor is a spacious open plan area with exposed beams and a wood burner set into a huge original granite fireplace, a comfortable sofa plus double sofa-bed, English satellite TV with DVD and video players, music centre, dining table and chairs, and well equipped and fitted kitchen area with built under electric oven, gas hob, cooker hood, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer and washing machine. There is a DVD,Video and book library to suit all ages.

Bedroom 1 with a double bed, Bedroom 2 with two single beds, and a family shower room. It is fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, kitchen utensils, duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels. Electric radiators are available to heat the bedrooms if required. A travel cot and other baby equipment is available free of charge.

There is a rear door to the private enclosed garden and patio area with table, chairs, sunshade, barbecue and swings. There is a lockable gate which opens into the gardens with heated swimming pool and terrace area. We have lots of inflatables and dive toys for the swimming pool. A play barn at the side of the cottage with rocking horse, dressing up chest, wooden dolls house, garage, Duplo, games and puzzles to keep little ones entertained for hours. Garden produce & eggs from our garden. Bread and croissants delivered daily.
