The property comprises a self contained part of the main house which overlooks the picturesque private gardens to the rear which are set aside exclusively for guests. Stone steps lead up from the leafy courtyard to spacious accommodation all set on one floor. It is well furnished and tiled throughout.
The gite boasts a soft lined swimming pool (8m x 4m) which can be floodlit in the evenings and is set in a totally secluded part of the garden surrounded by walls and hedges with lawns shrubs and trees. There is a covered terrace ideal for barbecues with a gas hob fridge and sink.

A bread van passes every day except Monday and a Pizza Van stops on Thursday evenings.
There is a boulangerie bar and store in the next village just 3km away with four large supermarkets in Saint Jean de Losne and three large supermarkets in Seurre both appoximately 10 kilometres from the village
There are many activities to explore in the area, including boat hire on the Saone and Burgundy canal, wine tasting ( Beaune is the capitall of the Cote d'Or wine region with world famous vineyards and wines close by), cycling alongside the Saoen and canal, horse riding, walking, water sports, fishing, golf, swimming.
Saint Jean de Losne has the largest inland port in France being at the confluence of the river Saone with hotel boats and cargo ships cruising south to the Med., the canal de Bourgoyne running north west to Paris and the canal Rhone a Rhein running north east to the Baltic and east to the Rheinland and eventually the Black sea. The port has a large number of "live aboards" throughout the year, with cruisers available for hire through "Le Boat", boats and barges for sale through "H20" "Blanquart's" and boat building and repair facilities. Many sailing boats and cruisers visit the port from the Med. and furher afield during the summer months. It is a boater's paradise!
