Moulin de la Ronde with its toes in the Vienne, occupies 4 acres of river frontage with a private island accessible through the mill, where you can fish, bird watch or read or just ponder. Friends, visitors and locals describe it as stunning.  La Ronde consists of the owners' cottage, the old watermill and two barns.
The last working mill in the Vienne, La Ronde was a demarcation line between free and occupied France in World War 2. It has over 600 years of history.
The "Old Grainstore" is the upper part of a barn which used to be linked by a footbridge to the mill.  Now it is a very spacious, open plan apartment with parquet flooring, imposing original beams and imported furniture reflecting the owners time in Asia.
