Located in a medieval village in the heart of the Minervois, south-west France, this renovated 2 bedroom Aude village house is set on three levels, with a small courtyard and terrace. The first level consists of the main living area, kitchen and the 20 square meters courtyard. On the second floor you will find a double bedroom and a large shower room, access to the terrace is from the landing. And the top floor is where you will find the second identical bedroom although this room has two single beds.
There is parking about 15 meters from the front door. The house is well decorated and although many of the traditional features such as the wooden beams and floor tiles have been preserved, the kitchen and bathroom are still modern and well equipped. Unfortunately, there is no dishwasher or TV so make sure you come prepared for lots of walking, exploring, eating, drinking and most importantly relaxing
The local area boasts a number of attractions such as great restaurants, ruins and caves to explore, as well as churches and winery tours. There are plenty of places to walk and explore or take a scenic drive. Sports and adventure activities in the area include hiking, swimming, wind-syrfing and cycling.
