Set on the banks of the river Tet and surrounded by vineyards and artichoke fields, this beautiful Farmhouse is situated on an old Catalan farm Just 1km from the traditional Catalan village of Villelongue de la Salanque. Despite being in a peaceful setting, you are still extremely close to the beach at the modern beach resort of Canet en Roussillon or St. Marie Plage, 10 minutes from the cosmopolitan city of Perpignan and very close to the major link roads into Spain which lead up to the mountains and down the coast along the glorious Mediterranean sea.

The villa is fully equipped and a very safe place for children to relax and play making it ideal for parents too. With a selection of beach bars, restaurants and beach clubs our guest can also relax and enjoy the stunning views of the sea and mountains.

Recently rebuilt in 2005 from the shell of an old stable block on the farm, this fantastic L shape building will sleep up to 10 guests. With one double bedroom and shower room with toilet found at one end, and at the other end you will find three further bedrooms and a second bathroom with toilet. One of these bedrooms is a second double with a room with twin beds and the third room having bunk beds. The spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, full sized oven and 4 ring hob, toaster, coffee maker. With a dining table and seating for up to 6, there is also a sofa and comfortable seating, a TV with DVD player and Satellite TV for English channels. Please note there is a great selection of DVDs, books and toys for you to enjoy during your stay.

Outside our guest can enjoy an acre of mature gardens and a 12 X 6 m swimming pool, plus a relaxing pool area for sunbathing. There is a ping pong table, volleyball net and basketball net

Just 10 minutes in the car will take you to the colourful and exotic city of Perpignan, This magnificent city is full of sophisticated shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and music clubs. A number of fantastic festivals are held here throughout the year. With its exotic palm trees that can be found at almost every turn, the old quarter of the city is home to several multicultural food markets and full of fascinating Catalan architecture.

This really is a superb region of France, perfect for any type of holiday at any time of the year. Roussillon is the sunniest part of France with around 320 sunshine days each year. The resorts along the Mediterranean coast such as Canet, Barcares, St.Cyprien and Argeles, all of which have wonderful beaches are all just minutes away.
