Le Sud is a delightful 19th century Quercy farmhouse and barns set in 15 acres of attractive gardens, meadows and fields. The property is situated on the northern boundary of the Lot department close to the River Dordogne, surrounded by interesting countryside. We are within close proximity to some of the most spectacular sites that France has to offer – including Rocamadour, Le Gouffre de Padirac and La Grotte de Lacave.

The saline swimming pool is available during the mid/high season. In addition, there is table-tennis, boules/pétanque, children's swings, a kiddies' slide, a Wendy House and a sandpit to keep children occupied. The pool has loungers and parasols, plus pool-side lights and under-water illumination. A small barn has been converted into a laundry room with automatic washing machines, irons, ironing boards and a freezer for guests to use. Whatever the season in which you choose to visit there is so much to offer at Le Sud cottages!!


ACCOMMODATION: There are four self-contained Lot holiday rental cottages at Le Sud which have been converted from old farm buildings arranged around a courtyard. The homes have been sympathetically restored to a high standard retaining many of their original features, providing luxurious holiday accommodation with added charm and character.


Each cottage contains a fully-fitted, well-equipped kitchen, large living area with sofa, comfortable chairs and dining furniture, a fully tiled bathroom with bath, shower, bidet, wash-hand basin and toilet. Every cottage has one bedroom with double bed and a further bedroom with two single beds. The properties each have their own private patio with table, chairs, parasol and barbecue area for those relaxing evenings outside with a glass of wine and pleasant surroundings.


LE JASMIN (SLEEPS 4/5):
This cottage is at the western side of the property and has excellent views on three sides.


Large living room with its good-size kitchen/dining area which and leads out onto a tiled patio with table, chairs, parasol and barbecue - Fantastic views over the gardens and fields. Two bedrooms and a bathroom with bath, shower, bidet and wash-hand basin on the first floor plus a separate toilet. If required the bedroom with two single beds has sufficient room for an additional Z-bed or cot. Wood-burning stove for use outside the summer season.
