Château Beaupuy was originally built in 1720, partly demolished and then rebuilt in 1830. We refurbished the property in 2005, converting it into 3 magnificent apartments whilst ensuring many of its original features remain.

This 3 bedroom apartment occupies the entire front ground floor of the château with its own private entrance that leads onto the gardens and pool. Sleeping up to 6 guests, the property comprises 3 bedrooms, the main bedroom with double bed and en-suite, a second double bedroom, and a third bedroom with two single beds. The spacious lounge with French doors leads out onto the garden and has been well furnished including a TV with Sky (freeview) channels and a DVD player.

The dining room features a table and seating for 10, plus an additional table with seating for 6 can be found in the fully equipped kitchen. There is an ensuite bathroom to the master bedroom, plus a second bathroom with shower and bath. The apartment has ample lighting, good quality furniture and has been tastefully decorated throughout.

Outside our guests can enjoy the 5 acres of well maintained and mature gardens. There is also a swimming pool that our guests are welcome to use. Please note the pool is not heated and is not maintained during the winter.

Guests can explore the beautiful surrounding countryside, explore the rivers and canals and visit some of the nearby towns and village such as Bordeaux and Toulouse. Maramande, Bergerac, La Reole, Eymet are also worth experiencing. Be sure to visit some of the smaller villages too, such as Duras, Levignac, and St. Foy le Grande, all of which offer some fantastic restaurants.

There is plenty of stunning architecture with numerous vineyards in the surrounding area. If it is the wine experience you are after then you are spoilt for choice with many world famous vineyards and wine regions within easy reach of the property.
For the more active enthusiasts, tennis, golf , horse riding and a gym are all nearby with plenty of rugby and football played in the area if spectating is what you prefer. Swimming is available at the lake at CastelJaloux.
