Chalet La Giettaz is a recently refurbished, owner-managed complex of alpine apartments, overlooking a spectacular valley and the rural village of La Giettaz.
Each of the self-contained apartments boasts spacious dimensions, cosy furnishings and all the home comforts required for a truly revitalising and restful mountain holiday.

At Chalet La Giettaz, we believe space and comfort are essential to a fun and relaxing holiday, and our facilities, self-catered or catered, reflect this. All of our apartments are designed to feel like a home from home, with fully-equipped kitchens, spacious dining and living areas, and comfy beds furnished with crisp white linens and cosy duvets and blankets. We also provide towels, bathrobes and slippers for use in your apartment and in the spa area.

La Giettaz is a beautiful, rustic village in the Savoie (73) region of the French Alps, conveniently situated around 80km from Geneva Airport.
Nestled in a spectacular valley at the foot of the Col des Aravis, this delightful Alpine retreat is surrounded by unspoilt countryside and is rightly proud of its traditional mountain village lifestyle, whilst being just a short drive from the lively towns of Megève and La Clusaz.
The surrounding area is a year-round natural playground with mountains, valleys, forests, rivers, lakes and waterfalls for you to explore, or simply to sit and gaze at from the comfort of the Chalet. Around every corner, fabulous views stretch across acres of magnificent scenery, under the imposing presence of Mont Blanc and an ever-changing landscape of colours and sounds.
This is the heart of the Reblochon region, where the hills are dotted with the cows and goats that provide the milk used by local farmers to produce not only the famous Reblochon cheese, but also other world-class fromages like Chevrotin, Tomme, Gruyère and Abondance. Moreover, the gastronomic excitement is not just restricted to cheese: throughout the area, local bakers and charcuteries proffer a mouth-watering selection of bread, pastries and meats for a true taste of traditional Savoyard specialities.
La Giettaz is home to a small number of cosy bars and restaurants that offer a warm welcome to visitors and locals alike. Alongside two winter sports equipment hire shops are all the conveniences you would expect in a local village, including a grocer, a baker, a hairdresser, the town hall, a post office, the tourist information centre and a beautiful church. There is also a small and charming museum in an old house beside the town hall, where the furniture, tools and craftwork of late 19th Century family life have been preserved to provide an absorbing insight into the village culture and tradition.
The local ski lift - little more than 5 minutes’ drive on our private shuttle or the local ski bus - offers direct access to the Evasion Mont-Blanc ski domain and over 400km of pistes between La Giettaz and the larger resorts of Megève, Combloux and St-Gervais.
