Croissy Holiday Cottage With Large Garden In Quiet Village, Oise, Picardie, France

Situated in the heart of the peaceful and picturesque village of Croissy, in the pretty valley of the Celle, Picardie, France. This charming holiday cottage is set back from a quiet road and will appeal to guests seeking a calm, peaceful and comfortable base for cycling, walking or visiting the historic sites of the First World War. At less than 10 minutes from the A16 you have easy access to a number of nearby attractions such as the cathedrals of Amiens and Beauvais, the Plan d'Eau de Canada, the underground city of Naours and Gerberoy, one of the most beautiful villages of France. It boasts beautiful sunny terraces on both sides of the cottage, along with a large garden and swings for the children. The local petanque court is just outside the front gate with the River Celle located just the other side.

Sleeping up to 4 guests, you will find 2 bedrooms, one of which has a large double bed and the other having two singles; a cot is also available for bedroom 1 on request. There is a spacious open plan living / dining area with its beautiful dining table, sofas, and traditional fireplace. The charm and character of this cottage has been retained with wooden floors, stone walls and wooden beams.
The kitchen is small, yet well equipped with everything you should require including a refrigerator, freezer, oven, hob, microwave, and dishwasher.

The main bathroom is located on the ground floor and consists of a bath with overhead shower, wash basin and heated towel rail. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer, and a separate toilet. A further separate toilet with wash basin can be found upstairs and is accessible from both bedrooms

The nearest shops are found in the towns of Conty (5 kms), then Breteuil and Crevecoeur (12 kms). Larger hypermarkets and fine shops (and its Cathedral, Hortillonnages, Jules Verne's House etc) can be found in Amiens which is around 30 minutes away. The Plan d'Eau de Canada is a safe and lively lakeside park ideal for children is approximately 40 minutes away, with cycling, scooting or pedalo all available. An hour away from the cottage and you will reach the wonderful beaches at Le Crotoy, St Valery and the Cote d' Opale.

For our food loving guests, there is a Michelin star restaurant at Dury and a decent restaurant in Crevecoeur. Amiens also has a large selection of restaurants which we highly recommend, especially on the Quai Belu besdide the Somme.
