Le Bugue Holiday Home With Private Heated Pool, Close to Village, Dordogne, France - Maison Jolie
Le Bugue is a small attractive market town on the Vezere River, between Limeuil where the Dordogne meets the Vezere, and Les Eyzies de Tayac.
Le Bugue is a thriving market town with a lot of charm and makes a great base for exploring the many sights in this part of the Dordogne department.

Maison Jolie
There are narrow winding streets to discover and some beautiful traditional houses to see. Be sure to wind your way behind the central streets to explore these. Although without particular monuments it's riverside position makes it a very pretty and very popular little town
This well-appointed and spacious modern house has been built in the local Perigourdine style and has been furnished with a wonderful mixture of antique and modern furniture. It has fantastic views over the peaceful surrounding countryside and is just a short easy walk along the river to Le Bugue and its bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets.
This wonderful Dordogne holiday home has been designed to accommodate large groups and copes effortlessly with a full house. It has four spacious bedrooms all of which have their own en-suite bathroom.
The master bedroom has a large double bed and two single beds in, 2 of the other bedrooms also have a large double bed in each, and the final bedroom has 2 single beds which if needed can be made into another double. There is a luxury fitted kitchen which is well equipped and includes a breakfast area, oven, hob, grill, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, blender, and dishwasher. A washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board can all be found in the laundry room.
In the dining room, our guests will find a wooden table and seating for 10 people. The triple aspect lounge which remains nice and cool during the day is the perfect place to relax with its comfy seating, sofa, coffee table, TV with satellite channels, a DVD player, and a stereo system with CD player. There is also a selection of toys and games for you to enjoy during your stay.
Outside the house, our guests can enjoy the large patio, a lawn and pool area with plenty of garden furniture for relaxing either in sun or shade and a large covered terrace that provides an ideal place to sit and read or al fresco dining.
Parking available but, sorry, no pets
There is also easy access and gated parking area. Please note that this is for non-smoking only, we do welcome children however unfortunately pets are not allowed. The property is accessible for a wheelchair user and is suitable for both elderly or infirm. The local area is a perfect area for hiking, walking and horse riding.
Centrally located this area is the perfect base to visit the nearby for many tourist attractions for all ages, including prehistoric caves, art galleries & water activities. With specialities such as foie gras, truffles, cepes, magret de canard (duck breasts), wild boar and local trout the region is well known for its gastronomy with a number of high-quality restaurants which are also reasonably priced.
The house is just a short walk along the river to a selection of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. A little further away you will find larger supermarkets, banks, medical centre (with excellent doctors, some of whom speak English) pharmacy, dentist etc.
During the summer months, there is a regular night market every Tuesday which is a fun, simple way to dine where local artisans prepare food to eat on the tables & benches provided. During July & August on most Friday evenings you can listen to live music (folk, jazz) by the riverside.
