We have taken holidays in & around Carcassonne since 1995, this is by far the best property we have rented. It has a good , well equipped kitchen, good beds & fantastic views from the terrace. Plenty of room for at least four but warm & cosy & easy to keep clean. We will return. Property & location not suitable for people with serious disabilities, care would need to be taken with the very young although the terrace is child proof & safe.

We only stayed for a long weekend unfortunately and wish it could have been longer. The house was extremely well equipped - had everything we needed to make our break not only very enjoyable but extremely simple. We arrived very late on Friday but the owners had arranged for there to be some provisions available on arrival. Everywhere was very clean and the supplied details and instructions were very accurate.
The location is perfect - tranquil and beautiful. Everyone was very friendly and the nearest small town of St Hilaire had everything we needed in terms of groceries, a bar and so on. The Abbey there is also worth visiting (but closed between 12 and 2).
We would recommend anyone to stay at Corbieres without hesitation and its nearness to the stunning Carcassonne alone makes it worth the trip - but there is so much more in the area.
We will definitely be returning.
