Our lovely cottage is situated in the Allier in the Auvergne regionof France. La Merlerie is a millers cottage with adjacent water mill built in 1896, which was working until the 1970's milling flour & feed. The property enjoys a very rural, peaceful country location and comprises 4 bedrooms, 3 bathroom, a swimming pool and delightful sun terrace. Wi-Fi and English satellite TV

The cottage was purchased by a French artist & converted to a holiday home, and is now owned by a British family who have finished this pretty cottage to a high standard.
The grounds that surround the house include the millpond, water meadow and formal garden, rockery and large sun tarrace with swimming pool.
