Planche Cottages comprise three stunning properties which are perfectly suited for couples. The cottages can be rented separately or together as one large house, ideal for families, groups or friends sharing. The grounds are a web of pathways leading to secluded places such as the little summer house, the pergola, hammocks, magical places to unwind. We are completely private, perfect to take in the hush of nature and valley beyond. Each cottage has it's own outdoor area as well as the deck which is a cool 'under-the-trees' hang out. There are many wonderful attractions nearby, including several fine restaurants, beaches and lakes. Bordeaux, Perigueux and Bergerac are all nearby and well worth a visit. The area is lovely for taking walks.
OWL COTTAGE:
Owl is a fantastic holiday cottage comprising a spacious living room and kitchen area (36 sq/m). The room features an impressive fireplace and it leads out to the balcony, an elevated tree top haven. It comprises an original wooden floor, authentic antique furniture and a nominal kitchen area. The bedroom is an inspiring space, a cavenous pod filled with light and beams. It boasts a kingsize bed, bunks, and a single bed is available. The en suite bathroom is simple and pretty; shower, basin and W.C.

We are blessed with many great attractions, many good restaurants just minutes away, city scapes with beautiful achitecture like Bordeaux, Perigueux and Bergerac. White sandy beaches of the lake at La Jemaye for swimming.
There are lovely walks in the area, but perhaps our favourite is the 25 minute walk to our local restaurant where we can reward ourselves with a coffee or a delicious meal.
All includes, cycling, riding, canoeing, city visits, architecture, art, walks, fishing, bird watching, local markets and live music.
